8.5 PANIC ALARMS

Your system can be programmed to send a n alarm to your Central Monito ring Station to request help from the

police, a medical facility, the fire d epartmen t, or an yone you wish when you press a pre-determined combination of

buttons. To gene rate a panic ala rm, simultaneously p ress and hold the b utton combinations displ ayed in Table 1 on

page 16 . Your insta ller can program th e alarm to be either silen t or audible .

9.1 BURGLAR ALARM TESTING

Two peop le are neede d to complete this test. One perso n will watch the LCD scr een on the keypa d while the other

person walks aro und the protected areas a nd opens the zones (i.e. ope ns the doors a nd windows tha t are

protected, walk in the path of the motion detectors, etc.). Th e LCD screen will displa y the open ed zones, but if a

zone does not register, contact your Installer.

9.2 FIRE ALARM TESTING

Do NOT use an ope n flame or burning materials to test your fire de tection devices. Your Insta ller will provid e d etails

on the best way to test your system.

Zones. Your installer can also

progr am your Chime zones to

beep up on closure.

How do I program chime zones?

1) En ter you r [

AC CESS CODE].

2) Press the [9] button.

3) Press the [1] button to chime a zone. Then enter the

numb er correspondin g to the zone to be chimed, or use

the

]

and

buttons to scroll the list of zones. Press

the

[ACC] b utton to chime or unchi me the zone tha t

appears on the screen. Press

ENTER

to save.

Press the [2] button to set the time period a chimed zon e

will beep. En te r the time that the chimed zon e(s) will start

beeping when ope ned (HH:MM). Enter the time that the

chimed zone(s) will stop bee ping when opened (HH:MM).

STAY] butto n to se nd a test report to the Central Monitoring Station .

FORCE] button to ca ll the Winload software.

[

ARM] button to answer the Winload software.

[

DISARM] button to cancel commun ication with the Winl oad software.
